ATM skimming is the latest trend used by criminals to access your financial records and drain your account.

A card skimmer would install two devices into an ATM. The first device scans the data of your card, while the other has a built-in camera that records your pin number. Once installed, the thief can easily gain access to your account and steal all of its contents.

With advances in technology, these skimming devices have gotten smaller and much easier to conceal from the public than they once were.
A Romanian man was caught in the act, installing skimming devices. He is seen dressed up as an ATM repair man to avoid suspicion. Donning a wig and utility clothes, he was able to quickly install the skimming devices in the ATM. He was able to get away with over $400,000 from his skimming scam.

How does one become an ATM repair man? For research purposes, of course.
