This daredevil navigated treacherously narrow paths and climbed up the side of a mountain with his bike strapped to his back – and was rewarded with an incredible view of the Alps. The adrenaline rush of navigating around eye-wateringly narrow mountain paths wasn’t enough to satisfy full-time mountain biker Kilian Bron.
Not satisfied making his way along the well-trodden tracks in the La Clusaz region of the French Alps, he went in search of his own. Strapping his bike to his back, he rock-climbed his way up the mountain side.
It saw the 26-year-old climb hundreds of feet above the ground with his bike dangling precariously behind him as he scaled his way across the rocks, startling a mountain goat in the process.
Though it took him three times as long to climb with his bike, Mr Bron’s hard work paid off when he was treated to stunning views of the Alps mountain range, where no cyclist has pedaled before. Mr Bron, who describes himself as a ‘sporting addict’, said: ‘I like to find original ideas in sports.
