There are times when you would never expect the results of an experiment, which is where most important discoveries in science—or in this case, art—occur. We’ve seen our fair share of Coke experiments, so why not make another? One YouTube user was curious enough to try and find out what would happen if your pour a can of Coke into a pan of molten lead. The result was nothing short of astonishing.
Lead pellets are heated in a cast iron frying pan, melting at 621F.
The can of Coke is then poured in, resulting in a metallic rendition of Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” There’s a nice piece to have on display.
Science creates art!
