Cyclist Sneaks Up Onto The Pavement To Overtake Cars And Ploughs Straight Into Road Sign

This is the hilarious moment a bungling cyclist knocks over a signpost as he tries to overtake a car on a busy city street, in the unfortunate incident he ends up lying on the ground with a broken nose.

 

 

 

 

The impatient cyclist hits the signpost that was in his way in the bizarre incident which took place in the city of Tuapse located in south-western Russia’s Krasnodar Krai region. Footage was captured of the incident by a car travelling behind the cyclist shows him racing by, quickly bypassing a number of vehicles that are either stopped at traffic lights or stuck in a traffic jam.

The cyclist, whose name is not known, successfully flies past car after car but suddenly is faced with the obstacle. Either not seeing it or thinking he can ram past it, he hits it head on.

The cyclist was given aid from a driver of a car located by his side who helped him lift the bike off the road and move it onto the pavement. There is no information whether or not the cyclist tried to help fix the traffic sign but it is reported that the cyclist broke his nose in the course of the accident.
