A woman performed a death-defying stunt as she dangled from a helicopter above Niagara Falls by just her teeth.
The stomach-churning video shows the woman suspended in mid air 300ft (90m) above the infamous waterfall.
Erendira Wallenda, the wife of daredevil Nik Wallenda broke the world record set by her husband by dangling not once, but twice, by her teeth. In between the two attempts with her teeth, she also dangled by her toes.
The 36-year-old aerialist was flown to jaw-dropping heights by helicopter and dangled with just a hoop to stop her plummeting into the water. She spent about eight minutes of the 10-minute exploit hovering over the falls, and performed a few acrobatic tricks before attempting the terrifying stunt.
The aerialist then hung twice by her teeth using a mouth guard in between hanging upside-down by her toes. The stunt wasn’t all smooth sailing – with windy conditions proving extra dangerous for the daredevil.
The spectacle broke the height record set by Erendira’s husband Nik Wallenda in 2011, when he hung by his teeth 250ft (76m) above Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri.
