Flying Firefighters In Dubai Are Now Using Powerful Jetpacks To Help Them Tackle Blazes

Firefighters in Dubia are now using powerful water-powered jetpacks to help them.

The new technology will be used for fighting fires on boats and buildings close to the shore.

It means the emergency service teams will not have to fight their way through traffic to help those in need. It will also allow firefighters to tackle blazes from different and more effective angles. The video of the jetpack in action has been released by the Dubai Civil Defense. It shows a firefighter rising above a bridge, using water pressure from the attached jetpack to help keep him in an upright position.

He is also equipped with a hose, which he uses to extinguish a car fire on the edge of the bridge. Dubai is known as one of the world’s most technologically advanced cities and it is hoped that the new ‘floating fire stations’ can help make a big difference.
