NFL Receiver Gets Called Up From The Practice Squad, Immediately Makes Unbelievable Touchdown Catch

Maurice Harris spent the majority of the 2017 season on the Redskins practice squad. He was activated for the Week 10 game vs. the Vikings, and the speedster made an impact early. In fact, he may have just made the catch of the year.

Kirk Cousins went deep for Harris down the right side. It looked like Harris didn’t have a shot at it as his defender was flanked all over him.

But somehow Harris got one hand on it and hauled in the pass at the goal line. The referees went to the booth to review and decided that it was in fact a touchdown.

Harris’ first catch of the season goes for a 36-yard touchdown. It was a beautiful catch to cap off a beautiful first drive for the Redskins.

Was it the catch of the year? Possibly. At the very least, it was the catch of the weekend, even if the Vikings didn’t think much of it.
