The owner of a Lamborghini supercar got more than he bargained for while he was showing off his $420,000 (£315,000) pride and joy on the streets of San Francisco. This footage shows the incredible moment a man wearing a rucksack leapt onto the hood of the parked Aventador Superveloce and ran along the top of it as shoppers watched in awe. Its bling king driver look dumbstruck. He had been standing next to the red supercar at the time, wearing red trousers possibly in homage to his high-powered machine.
His heart would have skipped at beat when the cheeky car-jumper’s feet came down on the windshield, which momentarily buckled and bent under his weight, but didn’t break. After making his daring run in the video, the rucksack man turned around and tried to repeat his feat, this time approaching the car from the back. But as he attempted to do so, the Lambo driver gave chase, grabbed hold of him and pushed him to the ground, Autoevolution reported.
As the car-jumper lay on the ground, a valet in the area told the owner to ‘just drive away. You got a fast car.’ Leaving the scene would have been a smart idea anyway, given that the car was parked on tram tracks.
However, it’s not clear whether the entire episode was staged or was a genuine case of extreme car envy.
