Skating Duo Performs ‘Blades of Glory’ Routine to Open Skating Competition

The sports comedy hit film ‘Blades of Glory’ starring the two best comedians in the industry, Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, tells of a story about two rival skaters who eventually had to settle their differences and joined forces to win at a skating competition. One of the highlights of the film is their final performance that two skaters performed at the opening of the 2016 Synchronized Skating Championships.

Dean Copely and Tim McKernan dazzled the crowd with their funny “Fire and Ice” routine inspired by the film as they played Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy complete with similar costumes worn by the two characters.

They pulled off similar moves done in the film to the amusement of the audience.

It would’ve been more spectacular if they executed the “Iron Lotus” and the move done by lifting MacElroy by the crotch. Would pay to see that.
