The Golden State Warriors have now won all four games in their current road trip, and are looking geared to defend the title they won last season. Even with some of their stars being forced to sit out some games due to minor injuries, their other players have stepped up in their absence, making it more difficult for their opponents to beat them.
However, the team witnessed Stephen Curry get hurt in the final minute of their game versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. After attempting to steal the ball, the former back-to-back MVP rolled his ankle and immediately fell to the floor. He was clearly in pain, and limped on his way to their bench.
X-rays were immediately done to check on the extent of the injury, and it came back negative, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. Curry will be scheduled to undergo an MRI, as the Warriors are not taking any chances with their star point guard, and want to make sure he’ll recover quickly.
