A taxi driver is being questioned by police after he filmed a woman, 18, jumping to her death from a bridge in a Facebook Live.
Nittaya Sawasdiwan plunged from the Rama VII bridge into the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok in the early hours of January 2.
Its reported she had hired driver Pataradanai Noomsrinart to take her to the chosen location. He told officers that he believed he was being paid 500 baht (£11) to film the atmosphere on the bridge.
The footage shows Nittaya apparently jumping to her death, and was streamed on Facebook Live.
The woman’s body was found two days later by marine and police divers, around 500 metres south of the bridge.
Mr Pataradanai ended the broadcast once he realised what had happened and reported the incident to police. The driver is now being questioned by officers.
