Knowing how to operate a motor vehicle is one of life’s practical skills that we all need to have. It’s just like tying your shoe laces, getting potty trained and telling on your sister for something you did. I’m pretty sure you all know how to drive, but do you have what it takes to drive a real car—one with a dreaded manual transmission?
The folks at Jalopnik got the help of race car driver and NBC Sports contributor Parker Kligerman to teach three hapless people drive stick. What better way to learn how to do it than to have a competitive racer teach you, right?
Parker gave out the easiest tutorial you’ll ever see to all three.
And in a matter of minutes, they were working the clutch and rocking the stick.
If they could do it, I’m pretty sure you can, too.
